Etimologia

Il nome deriva dal mwdgprefisso mwdwgreco mweaπαρά, mweqparà, che significa mwegpresso, vicino, accanto, ad indicare la somiglianza dei caratteri con il genere mwewFluda mwfamwfqPeckham & mwfgPeckham, 1892.

Distribuzione

L'unica specie oggi nota di questo genere è stata rinvenuta nell'America centro-meridionale, precisamente nell'area compresa fra mwgqPanama e l'mwggArgentinacite-ref-salticidae-1-0[1].

A giugno 2011, si compone di una speciecite-ref-salticidae-1-1[1]:

• mwjwParafluda banksi mwkqmwkgChickering, 1946cite-ref-2[2] — da Panamá all'Argentina

Sinonimie

• mwmgParafluda albiana mwmw(mwnaMello-Leitão, 1947); questi esemplari, trasferiti qui dal genere mwnqSarinda mwngmwnwPeckham & mwoaPeckham, 1892, a seguito di uno studio dell'aracnologa mwoqGaliano del 1965, sono stati riconosciuti sinonimi di mwogParafluda banksi mwpaChickering, 1946 e qui ascritticite-ref-salticidae-1-2[1].
